Quality, Reliable and a great source for tips for smooth running track work!

MGRR Track Rule Number 1 .....For realistic smooth curves and transitions, never butt join rails on both sides of the tracks opposite each other as sectional track requires.   Always lap rails approx. 30" from each other for perfect curves and transitions to curves.   A little more work but well worth it.   Ever seen a glued laminated beam with all of the laminated members butt jointed at the same location ?........joints are always staggered for strength and to allow constant curves.  The only exception to this should be at turnouts that come with joints opposite each other.
